In a world where AI can generate anything, trust becomes the most valuable product feature. Here's how SanMarcSoft is building for a trustworthy internet.

Trust Is the New Feature

In 2026, AI can generate a photograph indistinguishable from reality, a news article that reads like Reuters, and a video that looks like it was shot on location. The marginal cost of synthetic content is approaching zero.

So what becomes valuable?

Trust.

Not trust as a marketing buzzword — trust as a verifiable, cryptographic property of content. Trust that you can check, that machines can check, that platforms can enforce.

The C2PA Standard

The Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA) gives us exactly this. Every piece of content can carry a signed manifest — a chain of custody from creation to publication. Not a watermark that can be removed. Not metadata that can be stripped. A cryptographic signature bound to the content itself.

What SanMarcSoft Is Building

We build tools that make trust accessible:

  • Verifieddit — instant, free C2PA verification in your browser
  • Content Credentials badges — shareable proof of authenticity
  • Open source tools — because trust infrastructure must be transparent

The POSSE Principle

As Cory Doctorow advocates: Publish on your Own Server, Syndicate Everywhere. When you control the origin, you control the trust chain. Every piece of content published through our infrastructure carries its provenance from day one.

The winners in the AI age won’t be the ones who generate the most content. They’ll be the ones whose content can be trusted.

Building tools that earn trust in a world of synthetic content.
